We're happy to welcome Shigara to Tropical Twista family! Their new EP Sambaqui Arranha-Céu brings us 6 original tracks and is being released in the international non binary visibility day

Sambaquis are huge mountains of shells, bones and artifacts, built by prehistoric peoples who inhabited the coast of Brazil. I invite you, traveler, to take the highest flight towards the guts of a city where once was the sea. This debut EP features percussionist Chaya Vazquez in ‘Tómatelo Todo Lo Que Quieres’ and ‘Trajeto’ and brings elements from different brazilian and latin american rhythms in an intense, seductive and upbeat atmosphere.

Sambaquis são enormes montanhas de conchas, ossos e artefatos, construídas por povos pré-históricos que habitaram a costa do Brasil. Como viajante, te convido a alçar o mais alto voo rumo às entranhas de uma cidade onde um dia foi mar.O EP de estreia de Shigara conta com a participação da percussionista Chaya Vazquez (‘Tómatelo Todo Lo Que Quieres’ e ‘Trajeto’), e traz elementos de diferentes ritmos brasileiros e latinoamericanos numa atmosfera dançante, sedutora e intensa.
